So Partha leaves tommorow for India for 2 1/2 weeks. (sniff) This is sad. We've been dating for almost a year and a half now, and we've never be out of communication for that long. I might get an email or two if he can find access somewhere. That's mostly it. But he needs a break from this place for a bit, and I hope he has a great time. It's just lonely with out him. Unfortunately, when he comes back, he'll be in town for 4 days (and I'm guessing a decent chunk of that will probably be lost due to jet lag, or it certainly would be if it were me, zzzzz) and then I'm going home for almost a week for a wedding. So basically, I ain't gonna get to see him much between now and november. :( Hopefully both trips will be fun though. I suppose I should try to quit being such a slacker and work on my prelim while he's gone.

In prelim news, I think I've decided to stay in Madison for thanksgiving. As my prelim is two weeks after that I'll likely be panicking at full tilt by then and going home in the middle of it would just add to the panic. So I think I'll stay. Mom is not too happy about that one, even though I told her I'd likely be able to stay home longer for Christmas this way. Ah well.

I've take up soccer since I posted last. Its pretty fun, and apparently I'm not aweful despite having played a grand total of 4-5 times now. Fun times. Alas, I'll miss it this saturday to go to the Indiana football game, oh well, there's always next week.

Must go work, mini prep needs attending. more later maybe
